Was just plain awesome. Thanks to the guys who made us York-virgins so welcome. The track rocks and the atmosphere was just great, a really friendly feel to it. I managed a new pb (still crap bearing in mind what I have, but hey, I'm a novice) of 13.1 @ 110, and my buddy Poe is starting to get to grips with the wobbly racer and ran a 12.14. PB's all round for a number of guys over the weekend.

Here's to next time!

Any VW that blows the doors off the V8's is fine by me! You would have loved York James - not only did we run in Air Cooled Eliminators, but also Sportsman (11.99 & slower) and for those quick enough Pro ET (11.99 and quicker) which throws the VW's in at the deep end against some of detroits heavy hitters.

All in all huge fun.

See you this weekend for DDIII.
