He did have them on a car that was similar but without all the hippie shit on it. I think it was a '70 though. Not registered of course. That trips me out too when I see who owns that car. The dude had some fuckin cool parts in the heyday; like a set of NOS BRMS. I wonder who ended up with those...   |

He always has the best swap meet when he swaps at some of the midwest shows, he doesn't only have rusty heater boxes and tin, he actually has parts you "want", like Hurst shifters, Berg stuff, etc....I once bought a Berg Equalizer pulley from him in the original box for a very good price. Oh, and an 010 and a 019 I still have.
Now, what he chooses to actually "do" with some of this very cool stuff is a little questionable....in addition to this monstrosity, he also has/had an orange 70s bug with flower stickers all over it that he would bring to the shows. Yikes.

Wow. That's a bit special! Not sure about the 1302 bonnet, but I've never seen one with the gasser scoops before! To be honest, if it was solid underneath, it'd make a nice retro racer for someone, just needs calming down a bit! |
