Not sure about UK but I know these guys have done them forever in the US:

Never seen them in the flesh so don't know quality.

In the U.S., they are frequently referred to as "canned ham hoods".

We used to sell them but, unfortunately our fibreglass guy decided to "throw the moulds away as we had'nt needed any for a while"...nice eh?..this was a good few years ago and there may be some out there that never got used...sorry I can't be of any further help but,our one that we took the mould off came from Mark iv and wasn't too bad ;o)

I remember they were still selling those back in the '80s... I never particularly cared for them, though, but that's just me.  Too "Mullholland Look"-eque for me.  Grin

Hi , I took some moulds from the same recesses on a  Baja bonnet .  I planned to graft them into a normal glass bonnet , then mould that , but never got round to it .

I could dig the moulds out if you like ?

Cheers , Rob ( I'm in the UK by the way )

We used to call these hoods (bonnets) rain gutters, because they would fill up with water when it rained.... and not driven. Not sure if the water ever would come out under hard acceleration.....  Glad someone likes them now, as they were not that popular way back.
