Well, as we all know, vintage Volkswagens are a SERIOUS business... and unless you're super duper serious, and I'm being VERY serious right now, the Samba just isn't the place for shenanigans... seriously. 

I sometimes have to laugh at some of the attitudes over on the Samba.  It's a great site, and I think if I stay away from the forums I'd like it a lot more (but sometimes it's like a train wreck, and you just HAVE to look--lol), but sometimes it just gets silly.  If you don't have the right NOS one-eyed duck, or pressed-rib, super anodized industrial rarest-of-the-rare triple-hoop that wraps around your bus three times bumper, you ain't cool enough to hang with the big dawgs.  Lol.

I love VWs, always have and always will, but I admit I struggle with looking past the internet nonsense sometimes.  And it isn't limited to VWs by any stretch.
