... can somebody help in So-Cal? I've called numerous VW places, and most supply Nankangs (no thanks). Couldn't find the tires elsewhere either (Performance Plus, Lucas...). Even Coker is out. Thanks!!! Stephan stsphoto@earthlink.net |

I wish you a lot of good luck finding those, Stephan... I gave up, a year ago, when I switched my BRM wheels to 356. Finally settled for a pair of 145 Nankangs. Thankfully, the newer ones had a better looking side profile compared to my old 135s.

I wish you a lot of good luck finding those, Stephan... I gave up, a year ago, when I switched my BRM wheels to 356. Finally settled for a pair of 245 Nankangs. Thankfully, the newer ones had a better looking side profile compared to my old 135s.

Bump! No more 145s from the guy above. Good used Firestone 145s welcome, too... I might consider Klebers, Pirellis or Michelins if they don't have any cracks. Thanks! |

Other than the brand name stamp on the side of the tire, I'm really happy with them as far as performance. They grip and ride nice. In a perfect world, I'd have a set of Pirellis to match my rear ones. But since I'm on a budget, these are doing very well for me. |
