Andy you cock it was his first time out on the 1/4 did three passes in a  full weight oval. With no reverse burnout and still has a gearbox that works. Because he was listening to what he was being told. Also the other car I was crewing for went 9.6. He also listened to what I was telling him. Which was good as he was French and can not speak Engish and won his class.

Well Done RUDY.

I was remarking on the fact that this was the lowest time for a type 1 at Bug Jam - that was all, probably the biggest gate entry in the year.  No need to try and insult me.  Good I glad he got a good time,  No need to take it personally even if you were crewing for him.

It was a great weekend. Rudys new beetle was worth the gate entry alone. An amazing piece of engineering. It looked awesome as well. Smiley

My best time was 6 hours for a 436 mile journey back home in the bug. I should have had a go at RWYB but wanted to get home intact.
Last month I ran a 12.7 1/4.  Smiley

And well done again to Martin aka Boom Boom, he's worked

Udo,

RWYB is all day Friday and up to the lunch break on Saturday.

Then they clean the track and MSA rounds commence. I raced in VW Sportsman & Sportsman ET. Never again, I had 4 Quali's in 45 minutes!

I've only known Martin just over a year glen and I'm none the wiser until he speaks in a French accent and flaps arms then it all comes very clear  Grin
