THIS... is one very well done car. Any engine or interior images?

It was featured in Hot VWs couple of years ago and painted by one of the German Folks guys (Paul Smoot?), I think that's second Paprika Red car that I've seen in print.

Couple of French Ghias, the rear one was Paprika Red too.

Nice. Really dig the dual factory pear shaped mirrors on the previous red car. Just makes the entire package look so much better.

cool...i haven't seen Pauls Ghia with the Empi seats installed....looks great!

i wasn't sure if he still had it....he's been keeping a really low profile for a year or two now.......say hi to him from me if you see him!

for me though i still think its really hard to beat the two Porsche india red Ghia's in Volksworld issue#1, one on Fuchs the other on genuine empi 8's with T bars and filled nostrils......very very cool........otherwise they can look a bit too restocal for me......

cheers....Jick

Took those photo's a couple of years ago just after the seats were installed.
Has'nt seen the road since last year after a carb problem + his work so is now planned to have a few jobs done over winter and back out next year.
Still get out for a few pints with him so will say hello and give him a kick to get back on here Grin
Always liked Brian Burrows Ghia(Ivans at some point?) as a cal looker (before he stuck all the vzi stickers all over it), will look for some pics.

Tell him hi from me, haven't spoken since he fell out of the pub and broke a limb stopping him from getting to EBI.  I know he was busy with work and other things.

Love this car ever since I first saw it at Drag Day, I think it was 2006. Gorgeous.

I don't think either of my Ghias would be classed as Cal-look.

Good work people. Gotta love a Ghia thread

Mine, parked on a slope and the nose is still lower than the back Cool

Some more here, just a Facebook group I started for cool Ghias, not necessarily all Cal-Look though. I have the urge to delete the Porsche-a-like, however I think it stands as a testiomony to show how it 'shouldn't' be done. Feel free to join up
