IDA Venturi Removal

I'm about to re-jet a pair if Spanish IDAs plus I need to remove the venturis.  When I remove the 7 screws and lift the top cover the pump jets prevent the venturi from being pulled upwards, do the pump jets just pull out?  I've tried to give them a tug but they seem pretty solid, don't want to do any damage..

On spanish IDA's, the pump squirters just pull out. They have an o-ring that holds them in.
