 Shocked Shocked
Strange tread pattern. Never saw any tyres like that back in the day. The usual Pirellii tread pattern was the one on the right in this photo:

I wonder when the two tread patterns were available?

Fabian, congrats on the tires!  I am running them on my ragtop (both tire styles you show in the picture) and they look the part...........just remember that they are a tube tire only.  Lots of talcum powder in the tire when you mount them.

Enjoy!

I wonder when the two tread patterns were available?
Keith The Tires on the Left were on the rear of The Goss Choptop when he had it, Keith Goss Ran A 185/70x15 CN on the rear and a 175/70x15 CN36 on the Front  Both tires sizes had the same tread pattern. 175/70x15 CN 36 is the same height as a 145 mich XZX but a little wider they look great on a lowered cal look and handle great  165x15 and smaller have the tread pattern on the right 175/70x15 and larger CN 36's have the tread pattern on the left call a Dog Bone tread..

Yes, 215/65s - I could only replace them with Fuldas at the time. There were no 175/70s around, either, so I used 155 ZXs.  Smiley

We love Fabs! Cheesy Kiss

I just think it is funny that KS stamped the vintage photos with his name, yet the ones he actually took are unstamped.  Irony.  I guess that is "Speedwell Protection"   Cheesy Wink

Well spotted! This was indeed an early photo. Check the frame horns and torsion tube – they're all dirty. Note also the non-fresh-air heater boxes which Keith and the FAT crew modded to fit the header. I may even still have those somewhere.
