Where can I find the molding that goes between the bumper guard and the bumper blade...!..I have never seen this anywhere..?.... Huh

when I had just finished my car it had bumpers on it, set up just like your photo.
I think the seal used was ghia as they have seal similar.  I got them from BFY, try them.
Its was a few year s ago, but try.

Indeed, these are the seals used between the guards and the blades on Karmann Ghias. You just need to cut them to length. A bunch of DKP guys use them on their cars. Neat touch.

A few of us in D.K.K. used those, too, thirty years ago. When I had my European guards, I had the K.G. stuff on there.

I bought mine at West Coast Classics many years ago.  I don't know if they still carry them or not.  They were in a Flat 4 package.

Mc Master carr company has extruded rubber that you can get by the foot, Find a shape that works for you.

It has always been my opinion that the aftermarket (read overseas mfg), came up with using these seals to fudge the gaps between the guards and the blades. That if your guards and your bumpers match properly, you don't need them. When I look at a sedan, and I see those rubber moldings, I know right then and there, the guy used cheap thin bumpers.... Just my 2 cents worth...

LOL Deano if they were using Cheap Bumpers and Guards it would take more then that small strip to fill the gap I saw car in a Show not long ago that had used that slip on plastic door edge molding now that for sure was a Hot Vw's Canadate  LMAO   Grin Grin

Deano I agree ....!...I know I have seen some nasty fitting guards,,!,,,I just like the accent it gives when using bumper guard rubbers also !....I think the little touches sometimes make a difference..!
