These come up for sale from time to time , this one looks to be the real deal

I'd say it was from the first movie judging from the netted seat backs , be interesting to see if it has any signs of rear control left in there . I seem to remember that fuel filler too  Smiley
and the anti glare grey interior of coarse  Wink
I'd like to have one of these down the garage , but you'd never drive it would you ?

Reading the ad, it appears to be a 'dummy' car built for shows etc, a bit like the Formula One teams build to put on display, rather than an actual film car.  Huh

The fuellcap was in the monte carlo movie, did a shoot of a perfect replica herbie of the herbie goes to monte carlo movie and it has that kind of fuellcap.
