I need to buy the last parts for my engine build and i need some help.

2175cc
Dpr 78.4 x 94mm
48 ida
Steve tims stage 2 plus heads (welded) 42 x 37

Push rods:
Manton, jaycee or ac.net aluminium? Any pros/cons?

Keep the stock 37mm or bigger?

Will the engine benefit from aftermarket stacks like jaycee or berg?

I'd leave the 37's in there to dial everything in and then experiment, there are a lot of varibles to take into account pre-build  and they are relative easy to R&R -- -- stacks? wait until you get the engine in the car and then see what stacks will fit -- usually the longer the better, but if they don't fit then. . . . ... ..... ..... stack length is kinda like the difference between a tunnel ram intake and a torquer intake - It will depend on the rpm's and your driving style and, most importantly thing of all, what you like the looks of

Thanks, I will leave the 37 venturis and stock stacks for now and will try at tuning the engine.

What about push rods, does anyone have experience with the alu pushrods. Weight differs a lot almost 50 grams per pushrod!

I use Smith Brothers HD alum pushrods.  I believe Joel Mohr uses them as well.  You can check them out at pushrods.net.  They have good products and the guys there are really helpful.  They also have cromoly if you decide to go that route.  They will send them to you clean and assembled to your length.  Good company to deal with.
