Anyone have any neat tricks to cleaning burned oil on silver ceramic hot coat finish without hurting it ...?...I've heard " Oven cleaner" and "Scotchbrite"...but that seems harsh....

I have been using aerosol carb cleaner and scotch brite pad to clean burned on stuff for years. After cleaning I use a metal polish to return the original luster.

Hotsy pressure washer cranked up to 200 degrees takes all old oil coating off and leaves it looking like new

I've used SOS pads on tough oil stains with good results. Never tried to polish it afterwards - will do that next time.
