We can't force ya to have fun

« on: April 02, 2011, 01:31:39 am »

So was anyone part of any good April Fools Pranks today?

I can start with one we did today.

I work for the IT dept of a pretty large non-profit. We have some large Konica-Minolta printer/copiers. My cohorts and I fabbed up some official looking sheets from Konica Minolta saying that the printers have been upgraded to the latest version of the firmware and that all features would be voice activated...

So people were saying stuff like "10 copies" "print report..."

Usually, I'm a big fan of this day. Today, I had too much stuff at work to get done before the weekend. Wasn't in the mood. Besides, as true and real DEEK members, you and I both know that we know how to have fun during the other 364 days of the year, my friend.

the kids at our school have managed to circumvent our IT security measures and have access to anything including porn!

At our staff meeting i said this was unacceptable, and having spoken to the IT manager from today onwards staff will access to the same material.

On a similar theme, I've seen a line drawn on the glass screen on a copier, on the print outs it looked like the glass had cracked...
