This is one of my favorite late model's ever.  I believe it belonged to a member of the Volkschancellors.

There was a thread on the Cal-Look Forums about this car last year. (Like so many other topics here)  Grin   As I recall, the original VolksChancellors owner sold it to a friend, but I cant remember the details.  i will try to dig up the thread.
It was a cool car.  Was featured in HVWs in 81 or 82

There are so many of these old cars that HAVE to be out there somewhere still!  I would love to find an early 80s period Cal-Look car and restore it!

I want to clone Scott Bakken's Medfly.  I've got enough 67's sitting around.  All I need is more time in a day.  Yes, I agree that there must be many old lookers sitting in garages with boxes on top of them as people got married, had kids. All the rest of life got in the way of playing with toys.

October 1981. Owner/builder was Tony Sells. Specs say it sported a 1800cc (1776) with a FK89, 42x37.5 valves, 1 3/4" header and IDAs. Clocked at 12.32 @ 106 in the quarter!!! Interesting how it shows wide 5 Centerlines in the pic above with early t-bars up front....

Sorry, no scanner here Tongue
