Maybe -- Maybe not -- working 14+ hour days right now, so it is not looking good -- -- trying to do one thing, even if it is just to tighten a bolt a day -- started on doing the wiring last night -- trying to make what is there to match up to my EFI harness is going to take some imagination

If I would stop changing chit I would propbably be done by now LOL --- redid the gauges in the dash today and starting to get the wiring figured out --- just need to hit it hard -- too hot and too tired from working in the heat -- weak-ass I know LOL

More crappy welding for you to look at -- one of these days I'll invest into a foot pedal for my TIG -- priced one once and it was twice as much as what I paid for my welder LOL

Had to redo this a couple of times so that I can fit a remote oil filter next to it

Wellllll, it has been a while since the last up date, got the new 65mm TB from accufab -- it is NICE

and then the nightmare started of getting a flange to bolt it to -- -- everything I could find was aluminum, so had to get one made, finally got one and the guy and I must of had a misunderstanding and the center was cut to 80mm instead of 65mm, CHIT, so had to get some time off to get by Scotty's Muffler in Berdoo and Tom made me a "adapter" from 80mm to 2.5" tubing that I'm using. I got the piece cut and welded onto the intake but still have to find time to install the intake and then find the right position for the TB so I can weld the flange in place. Freaking Holidays are sure sucking time on my weekends, and my old ass doesn't feel like doing much after 9 hours of working and 4 hours of commuting to Hinkley and back every day. Going to have some time off over the holidays (a couple of back to back four day weekends, YaHOOOO) and I might get something done on the pos...... Happy Holidays to all

That is unless it all ends on 12/21/12 LOL

I got the new TB on the car and got most everything rewired except for the IAC

(I just blocked it off for now -- going from a 4-wire IAC to a 2-wire requires some major redo of the harness and some guru work in the program, which is scheduled for next weekend)

-- went back thru some old programs this evening and mixed and matched with the current E85 program, plugged it all in, and the damn thing fired right up. and ran pretty good -- needs some fine tuning, but ran out of fuel

I'm really pumped right now

Have had a serious oil leak on the drivers side and thought it was the pushrod tubes -- -- took it all apart and redid the seals (god I love spring loaded push rod tubes) retorqued the head - and as I was putting the valve cover back on, I noticed one of the studs had a big gap between the two sections of threads -- sure enough, did a real close look see at it and it wasn't allowing one nut to fully tighten down and seal the valve cover -- oh well I needed a few more bloody scratches on my hands LOL

I've got dyno time scheduled this Saturday afternoon, so I've been pushing to wrap a few issues before then..... My 4477 Autometer boost gauge has been acting up, so I had another one setting on my desk to be installed -- then I was installing my turbosmart e-boost street in the car and I called Marty to see if he could help me program it -- so we were talking and I asked if a e-boost 2 would fit in my dash replacing the 4477 and what changes had to be made to convert to it from the street. He said that the gauge would fit and all the e-boost use the same plug in back so no conversion -- -- HMMMMMM -- so I went by the local Turbosmart regional office and saw Marty, his wife and daughter picked up the new gauge and Marty programed it for me right there on the bench..... Thanks Marty

So now I've got a e-boost street (powered up once and never programed with all new hoses and stuff from the 2) and a brand new Autometer 4477 boost gauge (box never opened) for sale .

No dyno pulls today --- didn't have a satisfactory points on the car to tie it onto the dyno-jet -- so we chased a few issues on the car and postponed until I can get some tie down points onto the rear of the car
