Likewise, and a huge inspiration to me - my chopped gasser was one of the next ones, out in primer in 2000 and paint in 2001.

I had two roof-chopped Beetles, which seemed excessive (the other chop-top was the ex-=Keith Goss car).

I'd done what I set out to do, which was to build a gasser replica – for me, the journey is often more fun than the destination!
