Here are a bunch of the midwest guys racing a few weeks ago.  Mike Fritz, Chuck Fryer, Prescott Philips, Garrett Fell, Steve aka Kenny Rogers, and a few others.

BTW, we did buy some pictures from the guy, so I'm not completely classless to post the track photographer's pics here.   Grin

The guy does nice work.  I saw the others he posted on the Great Lakes Dragaway site.

All your cars looked great.

Great showing guys. Happy to see cars from the eastern half out and burning it up.

Mike, I don't believe we've gotten a report on your car now that it's on the road??? Looks nice — throw us a bone here!

My blue '64 has 1600 miles on it now, since springtime.   Grin

I just installed a Deano shifter last weekend in it, replacing my copper bent Hurst.

Right now the car has a stock 4:37 tranny and a slightly hot rodded 1600.  By that, I mean
* Deano DCN kit/linkage
" Santana power pulley
" Bosch 019 disty
* Extractor/dual QP's with stock heater boxes

It ran a 18.9 in the quarter!  Not a firebreather.   Grin

I'm in the process of trying to decide what to update the drivetrain to.  On one hand, I could build an "internet" combo and just order up a Rancho trans and a 2332/IDA motor, and on the other hand I could try to use my cool old parts and build more of a "period" type drivetrain.

I most likely will be putting those Deano copy wheels on it, too.  The ones Dean Kirsten has posted about.
