We had time to do a little tuning to the new carb today. Who says a 850 carb can't be streetable???

I can't wait to get it back on the track to see what the new carb does.

That's awesome! Spindle mounts look ace, the turbo out the back looks nuts and the stance is bang on! Love it! Cool

Here is my son's promo video he made last year. This year he should have better footage to make another.

Jacob, you're a lucky kid! Having a dad that teaches and works on stuff with you is priceless. As is having a kid who shares your hobby Greg!

This week end we will be racing in Outlaw Turbo at Drag Day. I hope we do well. We have not had the car on the track with the new carb yet. Might be some tuning to do with the extra boost and C16 in it.

Thanks Richie, I have the truck loaded with the tool box, ice box and canopy. Jake will drive the car to the track, race and drive it home.

Say hello to Jo for us!

Now that Jake is going faster and running P/M in the BRS, I thought we better upgrade his seat.

This should be a good year for Jacob. We are going to attempt to run all the BRS Pro Mod races and all the Bug-In Outlaw Turbo races at Irwindale. We have some great sponsors, Paradise Motorsports, Pointblank Installations, AA piston/cylinders, and DJ Safety.

At this point the motor is still apart and will have a cam change to one of Paradises cams. The cage will be updated so Jake could get licensed.

We have a full complement of safety gear from DJ Safety. SFI 3-2A/20 fire suit, gloves, and shoes, New helmet, neck collar, 5 point harness.

It's been a really long time since I've posted. There have been a few setbacks this year. We tried to run the car earlier this year at the Fontana BOR but popped all four cylinders early in the run. A couple months later we tried putting the car on Alky. That only lasted one soft and one hard pass on the street before it torched a head. Now the motor is apart after only a few 30 mile drives resulting in the heads starting to get a little soft. Now I'm waiting for a set of heads to be built to replace the super flo's. Once the motor is back together again I'm going to take a break from the turbo.

It will be a small shot...

The Super Flos are being replaced with some Street Eliminators. SL1 doing the work. I can't wait to hear it run again!

It's been a while since I posted any progress. The SL-1 prepped street eliminators and 51.5 webers are on and the car is running very well. We drove the car to Irwindale dragstrip to let Jake make a couple passes. Went a best of the day 7.82@86 but we are still playing with the c/M. Now that the car doesn't leave on boost and we have a new tire on the car, we were way off on the C/M to start. Now we are a little too soft and need to adjust tire pressure to get the 60' down.
Soon I will be putting in the N2o nozzles, then we can start over tuning with that.
I can't wait to see what we can do at U/S Vegas this year!

We've been working more on the Loco Moco since the last post. Back to turbo for us. the N20 was just too much for me to handle being the greedy one I am.

SL-1 Racing did the intake and the motor is a new build using the Paradise cam and SL-1 Heads. New Autocraft case was a joy to put together. The motor is also on E85 now to keep those cylinders cool.

There is a good chance all the mechanicals and the body will be put on this pan with cage. It has a 5" raised and 5" narrowed rear torsion. The front frame head has been leaned back 20 degrees.
