am I the only one that prefers the look of a car if the rear looks like it has a bit of sag and isn't tippy toeing?

Dig'e both! Standards are like instant cal-look.....just add t-bars & 2liter! I've always loved those 3 spoke steering wheels too!

I pretty sure it does have IRS. I think it was featured in Volksworld many years ago with colour coded fusch's and was more of a resto than a cal look

good don't want to get cast out for thinking that Tongue I'm not talking about a 1 spline or more drop but the sort of adjustment you'd get with adjustable spring plate to make the rear end look a little more purposeful Cool

I always liked the look of Hector Bonnila's bug when it was in Volksworld as it has a little sag or adjustment.

Yours looks a lot cleaner Fabs.  What engine you running in it these days?  if I remember rightly it was some kind of period motor? 356 or Judson Blower? Or have I made that up?

My 2276cc is nearing completion and hopefully should be up and running for voowoo  Wink

What do you reckon about retaining the original doors cards? I'm not sure whether to replace with new TMI or keep some of it as I got it........steering wheel is staying  Grin

Is that the original carpets and doorcards in yours? Cool  Unfortunately the carpets in mine are way gone, but the doorcards should be okay although they are really faded.  I hear that there is somewhere in Germany that does authentic standard carpet sets? I just haven't found out who they are yet  Cheesy

Well I would get all the guys to re-do their cars , raise all the front ends , and de-trim them all , to be more to your suiting .

But then it would be pretty gutting for them , to spend all their money , only to get blanked by you as usual .

Thank's for your constructive support as always  Sad

I guess, Pete, the owner knows what he wants to do in that regard better than you or me.

BTW, had long chats with Andy Jewell at EBI about JG54... Interesting stuff. Keep up the good work.

PS - I love side trim. I have to – I can't afford to take it off!

The front has 145/15 XZX Michelin's and the rear tyres are 205/70R15 B F Goodrich Radial TA's fitted to 5x15 flat 4 Brm's.
