Any of the new S-series Audi cars are a blast to drive and they handle INSANE. Rick, that white VW is wild lookin'! Is that the new one with the V12? Nicolas, your Dad's 6-series is nice and has a lotta potential. I never cared for those fender garnish/trim things. Hopefully, getting them removed ain't a big deal. Always had a soft spot for the big two-door BMW cars. (3.0CSi, 635CSi, 850i)

Yep motor is in the back seat like a Renault R5 Turbo.

Here's the VW Vortex article on it http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/vortex_news/article_2007.shtml

NICE! I've been hearing about that project. Looks to be a mini rocket.

Speakin' of R5 Turbos (the only French car I've ever liked), here's one that I shot last Sat. morning.

While we're on the subject of other car... here's a few more that I shot that day.

Interesting G.T.O./El Camino conversion. Tastefully done, if you're into American cars.

Not a big fan of English cars, but there ARE a few... behold, this incredible Aston Martin Zagato.

My alltime fave Mercedes Benz since I was a little kid. Note the D.K.P. car on the right. I forgot his name... met him at Nick's, the previous weekend.

Another old English fave o' mine... I dig Cortinas.

My favorite car of that day was this Audi R8. Nice to finally see one all one color. Usually, they're painted either silver or black just behind the b-pillar.

This Jaguar undercarriage is rather impressive.

Yes... I'm a car nut and I love taking pictures. HAHA!!

My '26

Hot Rods, Mustangs, Brit and Italian cars. Anything Porsche.

WOW, Rick... that's a cool lookin' car. That would be fun to shoot in black & white.

OK... let me get this straight... you went to Cars & Coffee and you didn't call???  Angry Angry Angry

I'm only 3 miles from there!  Wink Wink

Black and white?? How about a little sepia tone? I was messing with Photoshop and...

R5 Turbos were imported into the US but I don't think the 205 was.

They had to make 200 road going versions of all group B rally cars. There used to be a guy near my grandmother that had a Ford RS200, awesome seeing it spit flames round the lanes  Cool

I have a huge sweet spot for the RS200... all the Killer Bs were really cool though.

Rick, I'm sorry... had I known that you were into that... I would've called. I'm actually thinking of going tomorrow, but not quite sure what the weather's gonna do. I got my silver car all cleaned up, too.

Empicollector, those Renault R5 Turbos were actually runnin' around southern California in the '80s. They're kinda obscure, now. I never knew about the Peugeot mid engine car. Thanks for the education.

Alfie, I fully agree... the Audi Quattro is the best rally car in my opinion, too. Always wanted one of those or at least a GT Coupe back around 1984 or so. NICE cars.

I took these at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed a few years ago. I can't wait to go again this year, they have a forest stage for the rally cars  Grin

I've been thinking about purchasing an E36 M3 as my daily driver. I had one in the past and that was the first stick shift car I ever drove.
Funny story about that. Actually not so funny.
I'll start a different thread for that.
