I'm curious. Can new gaskets for these original valve covers be sourced? I've heard horror stories about leaky bolt on valve covers but it seems a lot of the cool period correct units are of this construction (empi, DDS, race trim, etc)

Any words of wisdom from guys actually running OG sets?

You can use the perimeter gaskets from the repro covers. The bolt on seals take specific hardware/seal, but I've heard of guys using the early oil cooler seals successfully.
