I am looking for a quality built swing axle transmission.

What company/persons makes the best/strongest ones??

I don't want some china Parts

What are your recommendations

Do you want a full "race" box? What hp numbers are you bolting to it?

Future plans are including a 2,4 150+ type 4. Perhaps a few pas on the quarter mile but mostly on the street. My plan was gearing similar to a 1500 trans.

just had mine built by John Walklett (63ragtop on volkszone) ,built with all brand new parts, apparently Rancho use allot of
re-manufactured parts, he can build to your spec and advise you on the best gearing to go for.

cogbox pete  Wink so far my cogbox pro drag type 1 box has held up superbly engine makes 225 n/a and ive been using 100hp of gas on top of that and its been great

I´ve had boxes by Mats Herrlander and Jussi, both have been great. The Herrlander box was more of a street/strip box and performed great several seasons despite being punished severely.
