That doesn't work all stock shifter bases are the same dimension/size so it will not slip into the Dds shifter base also the diameter of the hole on a stock shifter base is much smaller than a Dds shifter cup so the ball end of the Dds shifter will not fit because it is bigger and will not allow the shifter ball end to sit properly not allowing the shift base to sit right as it must be made bigger to accept the Dds shift ball not to mention you have to cut the slit on it to allow the pin to sit so the shifter itself will not spin round and round which makes the Dds shifter useless. You cannot just cut off a stock base and weld it into a shifter plate and expect it will work also you must grind down the reverse lockout lip on the stock shift plate for the reverse lockout pin to clear as well

now you all know how to make one LOL have at it ya'll
