Jeff Denham. I went to their website ( 4inch bore ) sometime ago and it was down. I am thinking of doing a 4 inch bore daily driven car but for some reason i keep leaning towards JPM heads. Has anyone in recent time wrote Johannes by mail and did you get a response.

He can be very slow at replying at times. He's as far as I know still a 1-man shop, and when there's alot of engines to build and orders to ship out.. Well, you get the idea.
Easiest is to call him.

I had angle flow heads on a wild race engine a few years ago. It was a tight fit with a Gene Berg 2" exhaust but I managed to make it fit without cutting the car. 281hp at 8080 rpms:

What size engine was this. I am looking to go 101.6 x 78.8 for a daily driver with hopefully JPM 230 heads.

Did Berg make a header that bolts to the angle ports?Huh? I've had to make my headers because of the different angle coming out of the heads

Consider this;

A good. strong NA car will cross the 1/4" mile finish line at around 115 mph. A decent turbo car will have the same speed half way. Once turbo you will rarely look back.

The 2386 was fun. Absolutely nothing below 5000 rpms but from there and up to 10200 rpms it was fast. But my 1641ccm turbo engine is faster  Smiley

I still trying to get over that Berg header for the angle ports --- -- That is only I've ever seen or heard of ---

But that transition to turbo is one of those Ah HA moments in ones life

Ok clear, I get you on the faster part, I have never driven a turbo bug so can not comment on that.

I personally like the sound/look/feel of the carbs and 281HP would make me very happy, I have half now  Grin

The 2110 in my car is carbureted (IDA's) but I think about turbocharging it at least three times a day.....
