If you subscribe to Race Engine Technology (RET) you will no doubt be surprised to see an aircooled flat four VW engine on the front cover when it lands on your doorstep this month!! Not only that there is a full dossier feature of a certain JPM designed and built 1776cc ACVW motor inside!

For those of you that don't subscribe here's a link if you are interested. https://www.highpowermedia.com/p/1207/race-engine-technology-issue-091

When you consider they are normally discussing serious high end motorsport race engines in this magazine (last month Don Schumacher's top fuel dragster was on the cover), its a major achievement to get enough interest to get any article about an ACVW engine in its pages, but to get a full feature and get a picture on the cover is way beyond what I ever thought would be possible!

Its a great advert for the ACVW performance world at large, as we all know its not an obvious performance engine in the eyes of the masses.

Its a highly technical magazine with lots of great information about all things race engine related and a great read if you like your tech stuff and in particular this month, ACVW's!

If you are going to the Auto sport International show at the NEC on Thursday or Friday this week you will be able to see and buy the magazine on the RET stand as well as see the engine and meet Johannes as he will be there to chat on both days.

Fantastic!

Great congratulations to both of you!
I do subscribe since issue #1.  A LOT of money..... but worth it. Best of engine porn. Just like JPM engines.

Magazine arrived in the mail today....odd to see where it came from and realise its a stones throw from where I live....

Top read! Very nice publicity for our hobby/obsession and shows what 'taking it to the next level' really means. 250+ HP !! That would put most 2.3 litre motors to shame....

I also have Peter's '1776 disease' but can only dream of such performance. Top marks to Johannes and Peter - keep it up!

Canada Post delivered my copy today.  Very interesting article with detailed information about various issues that arose and how they were solved.  Very informative!
