Nothing wrong with that gearing, actually sounds pretty sexy to me. Should make your heavy car jump out from the start as long as you got grip. You`re not going to supercharge it anyway are you?

I had those gears in my car - always went rather well! Only thing is that that fourth gear is lower than the standard third gear so it'll take Keith about three weeks to drive from his house to the track! Tongue
That's the problem! If it were a strip-only car then I'd leave things as they are, but it does need to be a street car, too. We'll see. i need to drive it first... Tongue

What about a berg 5 speed conversion , to keep the existing 1 -> 4 with a nice tall 1.21 for the street .
I know they are a bit pricey but this has to be the way to go , stuck the 901 box in mine , lovely tall 5th .
