empi 821 camshaft

hello,

i am on the lookout of an empi camshaft. it was advertised back in the day as a 3/4 race camshaft and had the number 821 stamped on it. can someone help me find one or is there someone able to make a copy of it?

I was looking for an 821 myself for a long time with no luck. I had an 831, and occasionally seen a few of those for sale, and sometimes an 841 would pop up, but never the 821. I was planning on having SLR grind me an 821 with the info I have on this EMPI camshaft sheet. I'm not a cam grinder myself so I don't know if this is enough to go off of, but it should get you started. As you can see, it definitely needs 1.4:1 rockers with only .330" cam lift. Good luck, let me know what you find, and how it runs. I never got the chance!

i might just do that. but i seem to have a cam-fettish i have noticed…  don't know what it exactly means, maybe it isn't even harming anyone, but i feel this would be 'my cam of choice' with some parts i have here… we'll see if i can dig one out.
