JIM - THANKS FOR THE ADVICE ON THE OIL - DID IT LAST NIGHT - HAVE BETTER OIL PRESSURE ALL READY - TEMP STILL A PROBLEM
BUT MAYBE GUAGE IS OFF
GOING TO PUT A MECH TEMP GUAGE AT TEE AND WILL RECHECK - THANKS AGAIN - RACE HEAD ( TONY )

JUST USED A BETTER QUAILTY OF OIL - JIM R SET ME UP WITH THE SAME OIL HE USES - CASTROL TWS MOTORSPORT OIL - 10W60 - I WAS USING CASTROL 20/50 GTX - UP'ED PRESSURE AT IDLE - GAINED 5+psi - CRUSING AT 3000rpm WENT FROM 35psi TO ALMOST 42ps

You haven't gained anything. Your pressure went up because you restricted the flow. I can't imagine any instance where reducing flow is good.

THIS COULD BE GOOD IN MY CASE - RESTRICTION CAN BUILD HEAT - SOMETHING MY ENGINE IS LACKING - HAVE A BAJA - OPEN ENGINE - RUNS TOO COOL ON OIL TEMP - HEAD TEMP IS GOOD EVEN ON FREEWAY HAULING BUTT - HAD GOOD OIL PRESSURE TO START - TIME WILL TELL.
