Not a Cal-Looker but would be a nice base vehicle. Or just drive it as it is and enjoy the pleasures of a totally stock 1300 Beetle.

Although this is a suffix C-reg car (issued from Jan 65 – Dec 65), it’s a 1966 model Beetle, first registered in October 1965.
VW always brings out next years models at the end of July of each year, therefore this car has the “new & bigger” 1300 single port engine, ball joint front axle and slotted 5 stud wheels with flat hubcaps.
2 owners from new, always garaged and regularly serviced, large file of history, invoices and photos from the respray back in 84,
All original body and floorpan, wax oiled, only has three real paint blemishes (see pictures), bumpers & hubcaps have some scratches & pitting, all other trim is nice.
For sale as it just doesn’t get used and was last on the road in 2016. Has now been recommissioned, serviced & given a new 12 months MOT.
It’s not a concourse car, but a nice, usable classic and drives like a standard, unmodified Beetle should. Converted to 12V (was 6V originally) and will have working heating system if you put the fresh air hoses back on the fanhousing. They were left off as it was only used during nice weather, but still has the heat exchangers and operating cables in working order.
To make it really nice, it could do with a set of new covers for the front seats and powder coating the wheels. Has Firestone F-560 tyres all round.
The car is located near Wareham/Dorset and can be viewed anytime.
Please contact me for further information or more pictures.
Here are a couple of ads with more pictures of the car.
