The rebirth of S:t Moritz

So as some of you might know , I am rebuilding the original S:t Moritz car .
I has been disassembled, the old rollcage is out !
(Wasn t really up to date anymore)
The new rollcage will be “oldschool” no fancy stuff to it , but welded and constructed by a professional .
After this , there is plenty of body work remaining.
5 coats of paint have been removed.
So weight saving at the same time.
Here are some pics.
I will try to do a full documentation of the rebuild here.

By the way , does anybody knows where i can get little metal “discs” to weld close all the trim holes etc ?

samotorsport:
And it is of to get a new custom made roll cage

I think those small holes are usually just filled with weld, using copper to back up the holes as you weld.

Nice technique here for larger holes.
