Eversince I fell for callook vw's I wanted a period correct engine. I know there are a lot of options, but for me it's going to be a 78x88 with FK-8 and GB special 42 DCNF's  probably with not much more than 9.5:1 compression.
Now I have a set of biral cylinders with slipper skirts pistons. I want to use them in my (summer) weekend warrior KG. Won't see more racing competition than the EV with an attitude at a stoplight.
how streetable are these pistons? I read that the slipper skirts are to narrow, but is this really the case? Today slipper skirts are almost everywhere... Or is it the empi slipper skirt specifically that are to narrow?

thank you,
Glauco.
