WOW, thanks Allen and Dave!
I really missed a wealth of local history!
looks like you guys had fun. What scale was that toy railroad? O-scale or G-scale? Looks big.
How about a narration of where you guys stopped and saw?

Jim,
I am hoping Dave will chime in with the narrative.................. the train layout is "S" gauge................ the pictures don't do it justice.

The third stop on the tour, the McNally (yes, of map making fame) house. This is owned by the parents of a great friend of mine. It was purchased in the early sixties and was just about to be demolished. It was in pretty rough shape, but Mr. Dupuy and his family really worked hard to restore it. The cars are a family collection, mainly Model T's (depot hack, coupe, C cab delivery and roadsters, to name a few), but with an early brass era White truck and a 1934 Chevy 5 window coupe thrown in the mix. When we arrived, they were wrenching on two of them to get them ready for the following day's horseless carriage tour of Pasadena.
Next time, and there will be a next time, I hope you all can make it.
