back on the ground with the ride height settled.  front tires will be slightly taller than what is on there now.  9000 fiddly things left to do, but it's looking like a car!

been out bleeding the brakes on the Notch with my father (great bonding time) today. next is to put a battery back in and make sure the line loc functions and the fuel line is leak free. after that, it's just a couple little things before the booms and bangs get to try and happen.

I've got some fittings coming to put the Webers 40s on the car for 'testing' while i finish up the turbo stuff. if they arrive by Wednesday, I'm going to try and get the Webers on for Saturday and go to the industrial park to test the brakes, line loc, rev limiter and shift light!

Absolutely can't get my tranmission shift rod placed correctly to get all 4 gears and reverse.  I'm not really thrilled about having to pull the engine and trans to figure out what is screwed up.  I've pretty much lost all motivation at this point.

i've been driving the notch this last week getting ready for a 6,000 km trip next week.  once i get back, then the turbo will go in for the final time!

well, after a whopping 80 miles on the engine/trans combo, i celebrated by driving 4300+ miles in the summer... with a spool... and dcnf carbs, and 90F temps... and apparently no brain.
