I took this photo about 12 years ago or so.  It is of my garage and at least one very famous car...

I'm guessing that was around the time of the Berg cruise ?
I met you and Rick Mortensen at the Michigan Vintage meet then !
Steve Hollingsworth also gave me a ride in the Berg '67 !
Fun times.

The photo was taken before any of the Berg Cruises.  If my memory is correct the car and owner were in town for the Phoenix Bug-O-Rama the last VW event (I believe) that Gene attended before he passed away in January of '96.  Yeah we made it back to Michigan in '96 and '97.  What a wonderful time we had meeting with everyone.  I will remember those days forever.
