You know what I like about measuring stretch compared to torque, its easy to double check with another micrometer. Regardless of what lube and a crappy torque wrench. I say go by the stretch.

well,
did some more measuring today,
with another dial gauge and a normal micrometer:
i put a feeler gauge on the bolt head to get good measurements ,
and i got the same results compared to my previous attempts: 0.008 " @ 25 pounds
thats three measuring devices that i tried, so chance of making a mistake from my side is getting slimmer
i m stiil sceptic about my measuring skills, but this isnt supposed to be that difficult is it?
i also followed aj's video word by word
