This guy posted a 66 bug for CHEAP $$ on Facebook he said everyone laughed at him said it wasn’t worth anything so he posted it on Craigslist for freeeee so I was lucky to get it turns out it’s a rust free 67 sunroof shell that was hit in front and rear original 67 drivers seat is super nice and the sunroof works perfect tooo bad the pan is a rusty 66 pan but I’ll restore it for future builds the saying is true “another mans junk is another mans treasure” good stuff IMHO 8)

Been after these nos empi wood door caps/trim for a long time now and finally was able to get them …… patience patience and patience worked for me in getting these from the original owner he bought new in the early 70’s

Just got back from a local yard sale saw this on the table for $5 NOS empi parcel tray but missing a bracket … guy said it came with a bug he bought in the mid 80’s didn’t know what it was for so he put it in a box and forgot about it. He had a few more goodies but nothing we haven’t seen before. Gotta love these so cal yard sales

Saw a craigslist ad last night for 4 vintage vw carburetors $350……I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to pick them up. Turned out to be a pair of early Italian 48 IDA WEBERS and a pair of 44 IDF webers both sets are in great condition just alittle dirty/dusty that’s all. Gonna sell the 44’s but keeping the IDA’s this time.
