that car was truly very very nice, and yeah, ahead of its time up where we were. Car ran hard too. Do you talk to Javier any longer? It's been years for me. One of the coolest guys around. Used to kick little Frank (sheep).

so cool to see your car back in the day jim!
turns out pretty cool with the "period-correct" head&shoulders shampoo babe in front of it
what engine did it sport back then?
is that a primered bumper and a dual QP tip behind the little girl?

I think back then it had either European blade bumpers or full US like now a days.
I think it had dual Fourtuned mufflers around that time
PS: the "good" lifters came

Steve Seidner's aqua ragtop, Sept. '88 VW Trends cover... dude on cover with Vision Street Wear...
Car was super sweet, IMO... IDA's and an all-chrome dual QP merged exhaust system...

then
almost now, have put more of the stuff back on it, these photos are about a year old.

The Cult - Electric, The BEST album to have on if you want to get from Point A to Point B in the fastest time possible.
IMHO
If anyone does not agree - then they clearly haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
The only car it would not apply to is my '67, A: because it's not even got a radio in it, and B: because you'd need a 1000watt amp to here it over the roar of the forty eights.
I ALWAYS have The Cult on CD in my daily, in case of emergency.

Cool, Jim. Are you able to register your Oval with those '56 plates, if you haven't done so already? If you have two of those, that would be nice to take advantage of the Y.O.M. deal @ D.M.V.

holy crap that IS my car in the background....very cool. I'm guessing 1990 or 91? Those were very cool shows @ Pleasanton, before they turned into the import thing. I remember the cops were EVERYWHERE the Saturday night before Bug Bash...every year I got popped for something. I think it was a sport for those cops.
Very cool old pics Tony....share some more.
Hey Jimbo,
I think the real Question here is WHAT CAR....
