No idea, but Shubee on here has posted pictures a couple of times with the rough positioning. Check out Fabs' (Speedwell) thread on the rebuild of his '61, and Louis B's In Da Werks thread about his car. Of course, mine will be different because I'm going for Europa bumper holes and Lucas indicators!

here is a picture of my car set up with lucas lights. I, like speedwell, put them where I thought they looked good. just have to mess around with tape cutouts and see where you like them. I will look for the installation pics and try and get them up.

A Good Rule of thumb for installing Lucas Lights is to tie a string around the headlight ring screw and line the string up with the top of the oval bumper slot it ends up being to one side of the horn grill opening. When using this method the string should go through the center of the indicator see Picture this is A really good explanation of how to locate them.

what valance is the front apron ? Air-cooled VWs are the only cars that I know of which have their valances referred to as aprons. Weird. Dunno why... I never bothered to correct people on it. Aprons are what every other car has that the valance attaches to. At least that's my (mis)understanding.
