We were late getting to Nick's, tonight, because someone on the freeway decided that it would be fabulous idea to enter some sort of bizarre inversion layer within the freeway's atmosphere.

Then, to mess with our heads even more, THESE two cars were in the parking lot.

It was crazy... like a lost episode of The Twilight Zone.

Towards the end of the evening, at least something was normal.

Good seeing everyone, as usual. See y'all at the next gathering.

Freeway photo as promised! I forgot to ask if that was a solo accident?

No, John... it was a two party ordeal. I actually have the pic of the other car (late model Honda sedan), too. But my modem's acting up so I'll post it, tomorrow.

John, you're most likely correct. Another factor to add is that no one just plain knows how to or even respects the concept of driving their cars, anymore. That and most people aren't paying attention to what they're doing and they get angry when something goes wrong. Scary.

Sarge, sorry that we missed you. We got there at around 7:40pm or so.

Fabian, Bill is a lot like Frank Sinatra... it's his world, we just live in it.

Fabian, it's getting rid of the paint detail on the wheel that we frown on. They can be polished, but the paint needs to remain.

I agree with you, Javabug... Glenn's car really looks great with those. Especially now that they're darker in color, too.

Rune, don't quote me on this.. but I think that Rick brought out that car, for the first time. At least to Nick's. I wish I would've taken close-up shots of it. Very nicely done car, too. If I see it again... I will. Sorry 'bout that.

D'OH! Well, see... when you get my age, John, stuff gets missed and the attention span tends to...

Hey! Was that the recess bell?

It was the first time I finally (after 3 tries) made it to Nick's. I really wanted it their for the Pre Classic Nick's however I was sidelined overnight with a flanged crank oil seal issue until Roger Crawford from the House of Power came to my rescue on Saturday Evening to make it to the Classic. Special thanks goes to Greg Brinton from Brintech and DKP fame to finish my wish list in time for Classic week. I believe the photo in the background and the one Sarge was nice enough to take at The Classic are the only current photos of the car. Also thanks for the kind words Mark.

Is this going to come over me all of a sudden next year, or phase in during the course of days?
