Okay, I have to say that I like this one. (Other than the narrowed beam & maybe the visor)

Here is a before:

I like a car that looks like it was maybe moded years ago then stuck in a barn.

Ehhh... whitewalls go on stock splits and ovals. Little too low, too narrow, and whats with the extra chrome trim?? I think it would look better raised back up (nose down) with a set of crusty looking Crestlines or something Smiley

I'd only remove the narrowed beam, get the rear up, remove all the chrome trims and put the used ones back, remove the visor, remove the vw badge on the hood, remove chrome bumpers and put back used ones, put back the same used headlights without the lense, a set of 356 rims (not shinny) with nice tires, and remove that ugly mirror. That's all. Cheesy
But nice indeed in its style.

I like it apart from the stance and the visor. I can appreciate how much they improved the car without doing a lot to it cosmetically.

D.B.O. Not a club; a state of mind.

Yuck, I can't handle looking at the After pic.

Here's how I'd have that car:

But with a full race engine & transmission and find a rusted out/pitted decklid lock. Also, a custom merged A-1 exhaust that empties into stock rusted out factory muffler tips. Basically like my '67 except for the smaller tips.

That would be my daily driver to and from work. I'm not kidding. If I had the money... I'd do it. I just got a new job and it's in a shady area. I'm afraid to take my BMW or Volvo there. I seriously gotta think about getting a beater for work. Sigh.
