If it isn't 119 degrees out, it's either gale force winds or the whole place is on fire. Or trains are running into each other.

You're probably not going to like my answer to your query, Jim... but you moved to the S.F. Valley. Therein lies your problem. I lived in that hell hole from '64-'71 and was SO happy when we left. Moved to this house (8 miles from the beach) and have been happy, ever since. Way nicer weather, here.

You need to move to Orange County so you won't need the helocopter as much.

I thought I might want to live in So Cal until I went out to visit last summer. I think the only green trees I saw out there was in Sarge's back yard. Everything else was brown. Too many people crammed into too little space. Maybe near the coast is better, but for now I will just fly out for the occasional visit.

Shocked Shocked Shocked
You see, in this area of California, you just have to resign yourself to Sarge's recreational dynamite habit. In this case, pictured, he claims he was helping out with the wood beetle infestation problem. Great job Sarge! Go get 'em!

You're right about that, Louis. But in So Cal's defense, our last two winters were very dry and hardly any rain. But the coast is much better in the way of weather, more tolerable temps, and decent air quality. Things tend to stay more green, as well. The bummer is... the closer you are to the coast, the more expensive it is.
