Just a quick plee, i just recently  got an original empi woodrim GT steering wheel but cant seem to figure out how the horn push works or if im missing parts if got the boss, wheel horn push giant spring and the horn surround but when bolted together the horn is always on and there are no copper rings as per original. So basically if anyone can tell me what im missing and wher i can get these parts and also the order it all goes together that would be great. Thanks in advance Alex

the copper ring horn contact with the indicator self cancelling arm on should fit from your original wheel.

I have the same problem, if you fit the ring from the old steering wheel, does it stop the horn from sounding all the time?

the horn wire on a bug acts as an earth, so if your horn is sounding all the time with the horn button fitted then there must be contact being made somewhere, try insulating the horn button wire spring thing with a bit of tape, i have a very vague memory of doing this on my old notch back in the early nineties,
