Around Bug In 25 or 26 , I was in the staging lanes, wondering who I would be matched up with. As we got closer , I started counting cars, and I ended up against this goofy bus. All I thought was , " What a waste!" No burnouts, we both staged. I left hard and the bus disappeared from my peripheral vision. I grabbed second and glanced in my rearview mirror to see : NO BUS???!!! As I looked back forward, there was the bus going by me like a freight train. My introduction to the Kawell bus.

Great story, John. I gotta scan all of my O.C.I.R. pics. Way too many stories to fill this thread.

I remember watching Red Rider making some impressive passes at the later Bug-In events at O.C.I.R.

Gotta keep diggin' to find more pics from that wonderful place that I miss so much.
