I'm thinking it's probably due to today's high rent costs, insurance, etc.....

Michael, for starters... Frenchy and Susy were members of that club. Are there any more members that are still into VWs?

Gotta love the Bug-In 5 poster on the wall... VERY COOL!

The person on the left sitting with the curly hair is Don Bucky  ( Garfunkel )  and his brother is Mike Bucky also in the club. You maybe able and see more pictures of DVB club house on our website. Frenchysrides.com. My wife Judy is working on the DVB website soon to be completed there will be pictures of members and their car.

    Thanks

The person been blind folded is a member been initiated to be a member of the club. The person behind him with the club jacket showing the patch is John Fawley and was the club president. The poster in the upper corner of the wall was Doug La Fleur. Also I am the person sitting in the middle of the couch with my back turned next to the girl with the blond hair my sister. There is also another member in the corner with a blind fold.

    Thanks

Roy Bradley is the person putting on the blind fold. Roy use to work for Gene Berg at the old shop in the mid 70's and his position there was to turn crankshafts of all sizes all day  long.

What the hell was up with us and those old church pew benches we had??  COUCHES.... we needed couches!!  No wonder there were so many fines for unruly behavior... no one could sit still on those hard benches Roll Eyes

Just found a few B/W photos of the DRA clubhouse.  I used B/W as we were going to use one of these for a Bug in Program add.  None were ever used.
