One of my      all-time favorites. What a great car!
Just look at how those rear tires "pop" in Stephans´s picture. Awesome!

Im in love with his engine  Grin

I agree whith you. Really nice and clean.

But what about the breathing. I don't see any breather box or so.

As the post is coming back I ask again because I still wonder about it.....The engine is so clean without all those hoses...

your right christophe.im unsure how he keeps it so clean.there must be breathers from the rocker covers out of sight over the gearbox perhaps linking to one another.

ive got the same system on mine.its all very neat and tidy.it drains back into the breather tower.the oil seems to stay put and not forced all over the place.ive never thought the bugpack little breather boxes were enough but lots are being used and to good effect i presume.

Love the car.  This car proves that not all beautifull callookers should be 1967 models.  Not that I have something against 1967 models.  I really want one as it's still on my wishlist.

Back to Darrel's 66, subtile color, good inprovements chosen with tast and certainliy not overreacting, this car is TOP!

Saw Darrell Thursday night at Irwindale (didn't get to see Richies run Sad). Darrell indeed has only the valve covers vented to a breather and the puke tube on the oil tower. It's been like that for 10 years and he says that under extreem circumstances that it may drip a tad at the puke tube. On another note, his green race car is almost back together Smiley. He tore it apart to replace the swingset rollbar and remove some swiss cheese from various places. It should be ready for Drag Day  Cool

thanks for that dustin Wink the thing is it will leak if its nailed hard for lengths of time.if your blasting on the odd occasion then it should be fine.

i cant really see a problem in hiding the breather over the top of the gearbox on the underside of the body if your using a cylindrical type breather tube.it would be high enough to drain into the oil filler stand and be out of sight.

I may have put this pic up before...  Stephan shot this on the 605 fwy in 2006 after an Irwindale Drag Day.  A beautiful afternoon for a drive as I recall.  Rayburn was there, too and Steph was in his oval shooting pictures out the sunroof. Cool

Great shot! And great drive! That's when Stephan was holding his expensive camera rig out the window with one hand , while doing 65 or 70mph. My hats off to him for that!
