Hehe! Naa, I'm talking about Pauters new addition to the wet sump on their Big Blocks cases. They added a new high volume "Clam shell" wet sump which bolts directly to their case. Hold's 8 quarts of oil. Shown on their website for a measly amount of $3,000 bucks!  Shocked The ultimate in cases for that 2& 3- liter. IMO. Maybe Don Pauter can chime in on this one.  Cool

The distance from the crank centreline to the bottom of the sump is roughly the same as what a regular case with a 4 Quart sump would be. The above sump is not fully machined internally.

Dang! That's beyond cool. I was wondering when someone would start producing monster sized (oil capacity) engine cases for Type 1 cars. Probably a silly question, but has anyone seen/driven an engine with this case?

I think its sump and oil pump and your good to go. If you remove the roof you can check the mains and B/e's
