They don't have Rotary motors... Why do you think they have them?
I Know Sandro personally. I know his setup. VW power all the way. Turbo EFI with Mendeola gearbox. They are restricted on hardware in the classes that they run. Similar to Pro-Mod. Sandro worked real hard to break into the 8's with VW power. VW drag racing is picking up big time in Brazil. (you can hear from the annoucer). And they have thier stuff together.
Sandro owns his own shop ( Sportsystems). One heck of a guy too...
Sandro and his friends came to the USA last summer to see some VW drag racing. They graciously came to watch me race in Ohio.

I was told by a US Pro Mod racer on another site. I guess he was wrong.

Dunno, haven't seen the videos, but the other week at Shakey we had a Pro ET racer in a Chevelle hit a pheasant at the top end of the track...
