Anybody know what happened to my Ghia after it went to Japan?  I heard it was distroyed in crash years ago, but I don't know if that is true.  It would be cool to find out if is still around.

All the best!

Lenny Copp bought it. It was painted black and then, it was sold in Japan.
I heard it was crashed in Japan and went in a scrapyard but not 100 % sure. Maybe Lenny can help you.

It had bumper guards and fully polished wheels added? I liked it better with straight blades and black background wheels. Would be cool if someone in Japan could verify it's location for Roger, however. Be even cooler if it were still drivable.

There is alot of interest lately on people wanting back there old cars.  Seems many had financial reasons for selling and are now in better situation and want them back, or just the nostalgic thing about it.

Hi Roger,

Just to say that your car inspired me getting into ghia's.  I loved the car a lot in grey with fuchs wheels on.  In the first callook book from Keith Seume the car is placed at it's best.  Hope you find some unpublished pictures from this forum.

Thanks for all the great pictures and the kind words!  All the picturs with the 8 Spokes are the car that was totaled at Bug-In 18.  Anyone have some pictures of the one DKP gave to me and helped me build?  The one that won at Bug In 20.

All the best!
