Congratulations to Bubba Clifton and Ricky Marshall for making it to the final round at TVWDRA Points Race #5, which was sponsored by Action Import Motors, Vintage VDub Works, and Reliable VDub.

Due to weather related race cancellations earlier in the season, a triple sponsor bonus of $550 in cash and prizes was at stake for this race. The TVWDRA and its members greatly appreciate our awesome sponsors!

Race winner Bubba Clifton received the track payout plus a $150.00 gift certificate from Action Import Motors. Ricky Marshall received the track payout for being runner up, as well as a $150.00 gift certificate from Action Import Motors. Semi-finalists received $50 each, and quarter-finalists received $35 each.

Looks like you had a good weekend over there. 

Too bad you had weather related problems earlier in the season, coming from Europe it's hard to imagine the weather being an issue at the track.

VW car count was down (typically ~14 cars per race as of late), but there was plenty of fun and other cars at the track.

Rain can be a spoiler for early season races here in Texas, as can the heat later in the Summer (~35 to 40° C).
